Ivar Jenner itted that he would not be able to forget Shin Tae Yong’s services in his career in the Indonesian National Team.
“As a 19 year old boy, you let me start against Argentina in my debut match. From then until now I will be grateful for everything,” said Ivar Jenner.
Ivar Jenner also itted that he could not forget all the beautiful memories with the coach from South Korea.

The Indonesian Football Association has decided to end cooperation with Shin Tae Yong as coach of the Indonesian National Team, Monday (6/1).
As a replacement, it is widely reported that Patrick Kluivert will take over the position of coach of the Indonesian National Team.
Apart from that, the famous coach, Louis Van Gaal, is also predicted to come to Indonesia as Technical Director.
This step was taken by the Indonesian Football Association in order to bring the Indonesian National Team to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
Kevin Diks also said the same thing, Kevin believes that the Indonesian Football Association took the decision to fire Shin Tae Yong as coach of the Indonesian National Team for the good of Indonesian football.
The Indonesian national team will play the remaining four matches in the third phase of the 2026 World Cup Qualification against Australia and Bahrain in March 2025 and China and Japan in June 2025.
Currently the Indonesian national team is ranked third in Group C of the 2026 World Cup Qualification standings with six points, the same as three other teams who are ranked fourth to sixth, namely Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and China.
Meanwhile, Japan is in the top position with 16 points and Australia is in second place with seven points.
The Indonesian national team is targeted to secure at least fourth place so that they can advance to the fourth phase of the 2026 World Cup Qualifications and maintain their chances of advancing to the world football festival which will take place next year in North America.
