Gatotkaca, one of the tank heroes in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), is back in the spotlight after EVOS KYY showed top performance with the hero when EVOS crushed Geek Fam with a score of 2-0.
This hero even received praise from R7, an Indonesian MLBB legend, who acknowledged Gatotkaca’s superiority in the match.
In the second match against Geek Fam, KYY used Gatotkaca very effectively. This hero managed to play an important role in controlling the battle and winning the game for EVOS. R7, who watched the match, gave his appreciation for Gatotkaca’s excellence.
“Gatot is really good, he is very flexible in of laning, can be exp or roam. Very suitable for opposing initiator heroes because the opponent’s back row can be closed using his ultimate,” said R7.
According to R7, Gatotkaca is a very flexible hero. He can be used in the EXP lane or as a roamer, depending on the team’s needs. His main advantage lies in his ultimate ability, Avatar of the Guardian, which can block the opponent’s retreat path and force them to fight in a narrow area. This makes Gatotkaca very effective against initiation heroes.
However, R7 also reminded that Gatotkaca has weaknesses. “But if Gatot fights Hylos, he’ll cry,” he said. Hylos, with his high sustain and damage, can be an effective counter for Gatotkaca.
R7 not only likes Gatotkaca, but also gives great appreciation to EVOS Legends’ performance in Week 1 of MPL ID Season 15. EVOS managed to achieve two consecutive wins, defeating defending champion Team Liquid ID with a score of 2-1 and defeating Geek Fam with a landslide score of 2-0.
