PUBG Battlegrounds now presents their tournament that has been held since 2019 in 2025, namely the PUBG Nations Cup (PNC) which will present international esports teams including Indonesia. Krafton has announced information about PNC 2025 this April.
In 2019, Krafton held the first PNC in Seoul, South Korea and at that time, this tournament had a total prize of 500 thousand USD with 16 esports teams participating. The first winner of the tournament was a team from Russia, while the tournament was absent for two years until the second tournament was held in 2022.
PNC 2024 recorded the highest number of viewers and fan interaction in history. Considering this, Krafton announced that PNC 2025 will be attended by 24 countries including Indonesia. In addition, this tournament will be held again in Seoul, South Korea.
The reason why PNC 2025 is held in Seoul is because of the symbolism of being the location of the first edition of the tournament, and most likely as the host of the winner of PNC 2024. PNC 2025 is scheduled to take place between the third and fourth week at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul.
The 24 countries include Korea, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Taipei, Denmark, Spain, , , Indonesia, India, Japan, Malaysia, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, and Vietnam.
This will be the first year that teams from countries such as , Poland, Spain, Philippines, Sweden, and Malaysia will participate. While countries such as Denmark and India are returning to participate in this event. Given that the tournament is scheduled to last for 3 days, information regarding the current format of the tournament is not yet available.
