The position of holding a smartphone when playing games is often underestimated by gamers. However, for some people, including certain pro players, they have unique habits in holding smartphones to suit the comfort and agility of the ’s fingers.

Like RRQ’s new roamer, Naomi from Myanmar, who uses the index finger technique to play MLBB. Most of his former teammates at Falcon also used this technique. According to Naomi, using your index finger increases precision for skills that require accuracy such as Selena’s Arrow or Franco’s Iron Hook.
“Actually, playing with your index finger (for skills and basic attacks) doesn’t make us play faster, but it can make (skill placement) more accurate,” explained Naomi.
This makes sense considering that the reach and maneuverability of the index finger is wider and longer than the thumb. However, for those who are not used to it, it may be difficult to the weight of a smartphone with just your ring finger and little finger, especially if you play for a long time.
