Bradley Beal has said that his trade rumours are not trailing him to Phoenix Suns. The shooting guard was back in the rumours last week and this time following the alleged interest of Jimmy Butler in opting for playing in the Suns.
The 31-year-old American would be the teams ideal candidate to be involved in the negotiation with the Suns.
“First of all, I’m a Suns player. I’m here and I’m wearing this uniform, so I have nothing to worry about.” Beal said.
“Until someone from the franchise reaches out to me or talks to me, it’s just talk in the air.
“I’ve been living with these rumors for ten years. So I don’t pay attention to those things anymore. I’m used to it,” Beal added.
Indeed, more experience of Beal at the initial stage means that she was experienced in the field of rumours.
He was already a ubiquitous name in rumour discussions before ing the Suns after being associated with Washington Wizards for a long time.
These were seasons of doubt and, on top, “compounded” by the veteran’s injuries. Something that he is aware of in this storey is interference by outside authorities are a lot of time more of a detriment than an advantage.
“There was a time when I used to watch social media to see what people were saying.” Beal said.
“After all, nowadays, everyone has an opinion about everything, and everyone wants to see their favourite athlete playing with another player they like.
“But I think that puts us in a negative state. I stopped paying attention to these things because of that. It’s just noise, while we have to do our job,” he added.
The Suns can never have Beal as one of their regular players since he is always getting injured.
Beal has already missed 10 out of 28 games of the campaign because of ailments with his elbow, calf, and knee.
