Barcelona has a good first half of the 2017 season despite a tense summer transfer with the episode of Neymar. The Catalan clubs have the good results so far, at the top of La Liga standings and qualified for the round of 16 in the Champions League by finishing first in their Group.
Barca manager Ernesto Valverde has revealed he wants to buy up to four high quality gs this winter as he looks to significantly strengthen his squad.
Liverpool’s Philppe Coutinho and Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil are two main targets in January and both players had been expected to move to Camp Nou next year.
But on the other hand, Valverde refused to reveal who will leave the club in the next year after winter transfer market.
Barcelona’s defender Javier Mascherano is keen to move on in the next January. But the club cannot leave without a replacement for him.
“My Barca era is still not over, but it’s getting closer. I’m clear about that. I believe that all eras have to come to an end in life and mine at Barca are close to its end.” Mascherano said.
“I think I know when, but I’m not going to say! We cannot deny it, I lost playing time and the importance I had in years past. I want to find a club where I will feel fully accomplished and important in my work,” he added.
Mascherano team-mates, Arda Turan, Rafinha Alcantara, meanwhile, also intended to leave the club while recovering from a long injury this season.
On the other hand, in the offensive sector, Gerard Deulofeu cannot confirm in his training club just like Bojan Krkick Isaac Cuenca and Cristian Tello, who had not managed to break through at Barca.
Deulofeu doesn’t seem to have been cut for Camp Nou resident. His departure is more awaited than his team-mate Paco Alcacer, rather little played but effective when he had his chance with five goals scored this season.
The 23-year-old winger has failed to kick on since making his return and has become a fringe player at the giants so far.

Another report said that Valverde decided on two other positions. He said his management that he counting on Andre Gomes, who has never convinced Barca fans and has only five starts this season. He also wants to keep Denis Suarez, played as a lining.
