“I get inspired in a big way by the likes of Usain Bolt, Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Valentino Rossi or Michael Schumacher, guys who did things for a very long time at the highest of levels.” Federer said.
“I would marvel at what they did when I was younger. I couldn’t understand how they would get ready, day in, day out, practice, giving it 100%. I struggled with that in a big way when I was younger.
“Eventually I have found my way to see what is possible and how to motivate myself. It’s been really important in my life to be surrounded by inspiring figure. I take it mostly from sporting legends.” he added.
At the 2017 Wimbledon final, Federer beats Marin Cilic to win men’s single. He is not only put his name as a tennis player with the largest record. He also built his name as the oldest tennis player in the history since the Open Era.
Federer’s success in winning the 8th trophy at the 2017 Wimbledon has boosted his position in the ATP rankings, from 5th to 3rd. It’s a very fantastic job during his career.
“The key is training, every day. And it’s important to be surrounded by people who inspire you. I learned from these sports legends.” Federer said.
On the other hand, after ninth series in the 2017 MotoGP, Rossi struggles to take over at the top table standings. The Italian is currently at 4th with 119 points after managed one win and four podiums.
