English Premier League champions Liverpool could only draw against Crystal Palace in the 38th week of the 2024/2025 Premier League at Anfield, Sunday (25/05/2025).

Liverpool did dominate possession. However, they had a hard time breaking down Palace’s layered defense.

The Reds did play with 10 players after Ryan Gravenberch was sent off, but they were able to score through Mohamed Salah. Meanwhile, Palace’s goal was scored by Ismaila Sarr.

This result saw Liverpool end the season with a collection of 84 points from 38 matches. Meanwhile, Palace collected 53 points and finished in 12th place in the final standings of the 2024/2025 Premier League.

Liverpool tried to put pressure on Crystal Palace’s defense from the start. However, Palace actually scored first.

In the ninth minute, Ismaila Sarr broke through Alisson’s goal with a shot from inside the penalty box. He took advantage of mistakes from Bradley and Van Dijk. 1-0.
