Alex Marquez became the winner of the 2025 Spanish MotoGP race at the Jerez Circuit, Sunday (27/4).
After the start, Fabio Quartararo who occupied pole managed to lead on the first lap followed by sco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez. Then Alex Marquez who appeared aggressive filled the fourth position.
Bagnaia and Marquez had a collision during the duel for second position at the end of the first lap. However, both were still able to maintain the balance of their motorbikes so that they did not fall.
Entering the second lap, Quartararo was 0.5 seconds ahead of Bagnaia. Meanwhile, Bagnaia was involved in a tight duel with Marquez in second and third positions.
However, on the third lap, Marc Marquez slipped on a corner which made him lose third position.
Marc Marquez was still able to return to the track, although he had to continue the race from 22nd position.
Meanwhile, Alex Marquez managed to get into the position left by his brother, which was third.
On the sixth lap, Fermin Aldeguer had to lose fourth position after falling on a corner.
Then Alex Marquez managed to overtake Bagnaia to take over second position.
Entering the ninth lap, Quartararo was still leading followed by Alex Marquez and sco Bagnaia.
On the 11th lap, Alex Marquez successfully overtook Quartararo to take the lead.
Meanwhile, Alex Marquez managed to lead 1.5 seconds ahead of Quartararo.
Entering the 20th lap, Alex Marquez managed to widen his lead over Quartararo to 2.4 seconds. Meanwhile, in second place, there was a tight duel between Quartararo and Bagnaia.
Meanwhile, Marc Marquez is in 15th position after climbing from 22nd position.
Until finally Alex Marquez managed to win the Spanish MotoGP followed by Fabio Quartararo in second position and sco Bagnaia on the third podium.
This victory made Alex Marquez rise from second position to first place in the 2025 MotoGP standings with 140 points.
Meanwhile, Marc Marquez had to drop from the top position in the standings to second place in the standings with 139 points.
