Liverpool managed to win three points in the fifth week of the 2024/2025 Premier League. Hosting Bournemouth at Anfield, the Reds won with a score of 3-0, Saturday (21/9/2024).
As the host, Liverpool was able to lead by three goals in the first half. Luis Diaz contributed two goals and Darwin Nunez scored one goal.
Thanks to this victory, Liverpool rose to first place in the Premier League standings with 12 points from five matches. Meanwhile, Bournemouth is still stuck in 13th place.
