On Monday (26/11), Astralis as one of the best teams in the world again won a championship titled ECS Season 6 Finals after overthrowing the MIBR in the grand final with a score of 16-14 (Inferno) and 22-20 (Over). They also bring home money of US $ 250,000. Interestingly, 3 of the 5 Astralis players were the first CS: GO players to succeed in touching the revenue figure of 14 billion rupiah!

ECS Season 6 is a seasonal tournament held by ECS and FACEIT. This 6th edition tournament presents a fairly large total prize of US $ 660,000. Presenting the 8 best teams from 2 continents, namely Europe and America.

After going through the elimination round, the remaining 2 best teams met in the grand final, namely Astralis and MIBR. This duel between European and American teams is played in 3 selected maps of both teams, namely Inferno and Over. Whereas Mirage will be the determining folder if it is a draw.

First round – Inferno

Map selected by Astralis is arguably the favorite map of both parties. However, MIBR benefits by starting on the CT side, while Astralis starts in the Terrorists camp. The Danish team had the upper hand by collecting 3 rounds in a row before the MIBR responded with 3 rounds in a row.

Second Round – Over

This second map is an optional map from the Brazilian side. Although in their statistics they rarely play this map, the MIBR looks ready in the tactics and the game strategy they prepare.

But after the economy of the MIBR improved, they managed to show their ultimate stance by winning 7 rounds in a row. But the position of the score was returned by the rival, and closing first half for the superiority of MIBR 8-7.

Besides Astralis, the tournament’s Most Valuable Player fell to the star, Nicolai “device” Reedtz who hereby claims his 6th MVP throughout 2018. He recorded an impressive rating in this tournament. He recorded 1.19 ratings, and won several rounds that had a major impact on Astralis’ victory.
